Jessica R. Bowdler – Associate

Jessica R. Bowdler is an Associate attorney at Craig & Craig, LLC, joining the firm after graduating cum laude from Southern Illinois University School of Law in 2024. As a Mt. Vernon, Illinois resident, Jessica brings a strong academic background and practical advocacy experience to her role.

Jessica earned her Bachelor of Science in Health Care Management from Southern Illinois University where she cultivated a solid foundation in analytical and management skills. During law school, she excelled in her studies, earning CALI Awards in Legal Writing and Constitutional Law, recognizing her for outstanding performance in these fields.

During law school, Jessica interned for over a year with the Franklin County State’s Attorney’s Office where she gained valuable hands-on experience. Through her 711 license, she had the opportunity to appear in court, conducting arraignments, pre-trials, and bench trials, further developing her legal skills.

In addition to her academic accomplishments, Jessica actively participated in mock trial competitions and was a quarterfinalist in the school’s intramural moot court competition. Her dedication to advocacy and skillful legal writing have prepared her to serve clients with diligence and precision.
